The Friends of the Library operates a well stocked, reasonably priced used bookstore in the back of the Westminster Library. In fact, if you use the parking lot at the library, you walk past us to enter the building. If you are looking for something in particular, one of our volunteers will be glad to point you in the right direction. And by the way if you're looking to volunteer, we need you! If you’re just browsing, enjoy yourself! You’re sure to find a bargain or two.
We have an extensive collection of fiction, which is shelved both inside the FOLBookstore and outside on the carts. We have Hardbacks/Oversize paperbacks from $.25 to $5.00 and paperbacks from $.10 to $1.00 each. We have separate shelving for romance, mystery/adventure, westerns and fantasy sci-fi. Books are shelved alphabetically by author’s last name.
We have large sections of non-fiction sorted by categories. Math/Science, History, English/ESL, Foreign Language, Biography, Geography/Travel, Medical, Law, Psychology/Sociology, Technical, Reference, Collectibles, and more.
One of our most popular areas contains children’s books from preschool through teens. This section also includes books on parenting and home-school.
You will find a large reference section, an excellent selection of classics/plays and poetry, CD’s/DVD’s, audio books, cookbooks, arts and crafts, gardening and magazines.
